Radiata Pine (Pinus Radiata) - A medium density plantation grown softwood. Uses include furniture and housing construction. Can be preservative treated up to class 1 for exterior durability up to forty years. Machines well. Click here to view Radiata Pine grades.
Western Red Cedar (Thuja Placata) - Grown in the pacific North West. Renowned for its durability and stability. Used for cladding, joinery, decking, etc.
Douglas Fir (Pseudotsuga menziesii) Also known as Oregon - A medium density softwood used in construction. Can be used for siding.
Merbau/Kwila - Durable hardwood.
