Radiata Pine Standard Specifications

Buildpro Radiata Lumber is produced from a range of different log grades with the view to enabling our customers to have a full range of kiln dried pine. Aside from the various grades the standard specifications are listed below. We are able to cut outside of the standard specifications but this may result in a premium being asked for the product.

Thickness

Kiln dried sawn sizes – 25, 32, 38, 40, 50, 75, 100, 125, 150 mm

Width

Kiln dried sawn sizes – 50, 75, 100, 150, 200, 250, 300 mm (sometimes we will cut 125mm, other widths we are able to custom cut to any size within reason)

Length

1.8m to 6.0m

Can cut to length + or – 1 mm

Kiln Drying

Generally 10% moisture content (+ or – 2%)

Treatment

CCA for exterior construction.  Hazard class H3 to H6

ACQ

LOSP Light Organic Solvent Preservative

Machining

S4S and S4S E4E or Profiled (we can machine to any profile and/or size)

Packaging

Packs can be Random Length RL or Set Length SL or can be e.g. 4.8m+ pack. Generally any kiln dried lumber is plastic wrapped. Packs sizes are approximately 2-2.5m3 each.
